HAVE A LITTLE
PATIENCE TO READ THIS.First of all I am thankful to all of my
friends,enemies,neighbours,well wishers,lecturers and whom
ever I met during my campaign of life which was a gr8
xperience for me whn ever I met u people.Coming to the point
straightly,the thing is that I got job .Generally everyone
will be discussing about luck in their life which is also a
major part my life,but here in this context I am talking about
‘Bad Luck’.Because my career sago was in this fashion ,lets
only talk in general about academic context….
In SSC my score
was 499 which was just short of 1 mark which made me not
available for my school sponsorship of few bugs.Later then I
strived hard in my +2 which gained me a gr8 score of 951
(95.1%)I was happy but my bad luck was laughing at me coz the
reason is I lost seat in BITS PILANI one of gr8test institutes
in India after IIT the cutoff for admission was 952 ,here also
the same bloddy 1 mark made the difference.
From here I
removed the word “LUCK” from my life’s dictionary.From here my
life turned completely,I didn’t concenmtrated in EAMCET and
ofcourse my rank was a 5 digit one which made me pursue seat
in a institution.I was no more interested in going for any
long term or so bcoz I was totally disturbed..I entered my
college that was 1st yr of engg ,and from here I
was a typical andhra engineering student who used to bunk
classes,labs,go out everytime,roam,watch movies……etc(hope u
got it) here n thr I changed completely however managed to
pass all subjects with a % of 59…. Which is exactly opposite
of my inter %.Same performance continued in 2nd yr
n later however by last I managed to get % above 60.The thing
here is my stream is CSE but I don’t know what is what in any
language like c,c++…..Then I saw all my frens getting job n
settling , I felt really sorry about my performance n just
rewinded back my engg n inter n like that.Then I started began
to read everything from scratch of all my subjects which were
in engg after my final result while I was in search.I didn’t
gave up and continued in this way,Finally I succeeded after
exact 1 yr difference,I can see difference in my confidence
now.That is, I completed graduation in may 2005 n now got jonb
in may 2006.
I read many
success stories in the groups and used to say who ever gets
job will say like this only.But those stories only inspired me
internally ,I don’t know that thing till now.So frens these r
all common things ,everyone will be saying , so I will also
repeat the same words.Just forget about the word LUCK and
clear that bloody inch gap btwn BAD LUCK N GOOD LUCK,this
ultimately comes by our hardwork.
I did this
everything just to look thoz tears of happiness in my parents
eyes.So,y don’t u also get soon this happen.The thing is that
don’t think abt ur past ,u cant change it,work at present and
dictate the future.If a person like me can do that y cant u
all…….Any ways I am very happy now and new set few goals in my
mind.LET WE WISH OURSELVES TO HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE AND BE IN
A COMMANDING POSITION VERY SOON.
There was a walkin
and I went , they conducted two rounds over there which
were1)PIR (Personal Interaction Round) ie they giv us a topic
n we hav to speak on that topic for few mins,which was easy
basically they were testing our communication skills.2)Written
Test which includes few English passages,grammar,analytical
and logical questions which can be done .3)Interview:They
called me to come to their main office the interview was
scheduled at 11 but my turn came at 12:30 pm.The interviewer(I)
was very cool,he took me(M) inside his cabin,it was in this
way:
I: How r u
feeling Mr.Amarender.
M: fine sir.
I: take ur seat.
M: than q sir.
I: say something abt ur self.
M: explained abt my educational background,my family back
ground.
I: so u r from cse n u know all these languages.
M: s sir.
Asked q’s from C lang basic q’s covered all most all
pointers,linked lists…..I:write a prgrm to find factorial of a
number
M: done
I: write using recursion
M: tried,almost correct ,he helped me.
I:xplain me how it will be executed .
M: xplained step wise.
I: asked to write algorithm of Quick sort and xplain abt
bubble sort.
M: xplained ,was confused a little bit, he helped me.
Then he asked few q’s from c++,java, OS,RDBMS.
Asked to write few queries which were a bit typical but done
successfully.
The interview was all around 45 mins.
At last gave me shake hand, I just went outside and again
returned back and asked him “Sir! Shall I leave!”.
He said,give me 10 mins.
I waited for ˝ hr.
Later a lady called me and took for a HR ROUND.
She took me into her cabin and left said that she will b back
in few mins,came after few mins.
HR:Introduced
herself and askedme to xplain bat myself in detail.
Me: xplained.
HR: what were u doing from this one year.
Me:said that doing some course and trying parallelly.
HR: ur strengths.
Me:xplained.
HR: 2 major achievements in ur life.
Me:took some time, n managed to say only one.
HR : she was not convinced.
Me: I was a bit tensed.
HR: what do u know about GENPACT.
Me: xplained.
HR: that’s it amar,any q’s from ur side.
Me: I asked few q’s like job desc etc.
HR: she xplained everything.
Finally she gave a firm shake hand and said thankyou, me also
done the same thing.
Went outside again knocked the door and asked mam whn can I
expect the feed back.
She said ,”give us
2 days”.
I left , and one
fine afternoon I received mail from them offering for a
position in their organization.I was really thrilled,not
getting words to describe the moment.At last I made it!Thanks
for everyone who supported me thru out my career.
